This is a vintage 1968 Ideal Black Chrissy Doll with hair that grows to 18 inches. This original collector toy, from the Crissy franchise, is a fashion doll with straight black hair and brown eyes. The doll itself is made of vinyl, hard plastic, and plastic materials, and is 18 inches in length.
This single unit doll is a wonderful addition to any collection and is perfect for all occasions. It was manufactured in 1971 in Hong Kong, and has an original and licensed reproduction design. The doll is an African American girl doll with a dark complexion. Set includes only the doll, and it does not come with any packaging.
She is in used condition - please see all pictures! She has scratches on her legs and the name "keely" has been scraped into her butt cheek. Her hair is clean but frizzy and looks like it has been cut. She has sleepy eyes that work - one eyelid is losing color. The ball from one of her earrings is missing. Tressie comes wearing a purple dress with silver jacket - no underwear and aftermarket shoes that are too small and coming apart. She still makes a great display!
