Vintage 1960's 19 Mattel Chatty Cathy African American Black Doll
No chips, melts or visible repair to vinyl. She has rooted hair which is mussed but still stylable.
She has vibrant brown sleep eyes with attached lashes intact. She is in good condition, I think. She's a wee bit soiled though Her face paint doesn't show any wear.. She does have some light scuffs & scratches probably.. Her joints are still tight enough that she can hold most any pose!
She may have a bit of rubwear at joints. Her dress is original I think & cute. No damage but shows a bit of wear. When I pull it, there is tension but when I release it, it retracts too quickly & voice is garbled as is typical with these girls. Not the strange thing is that her leg shapes & color match but her left leg is slightly bigger than her left leg.
