Rare 16 Georgene Averill African American Antique German-Made Bisque Doll

Rare Black African Doll Designed by Georgene Averill and manufactured in Germany. Baby has bisque head, arms, and legs and has a soft fabric body.

Comes with a yellow bonnet, long yellow sleeveless underdress and a long yellow dress. Also a pair of knit booties & a homemade flannel "diaper" (piece of cut flannel). Bonnet and outer dress have some light stains on the back side- see photos. I carefully hand-washed both dresses and worked on getting the stains out - and they look a 100% better, but remain a light shadow on the back. The outfit has the cutest tiny yellow buttons- everything is perfect for this little doll.
