OOAK Custom American Girl Doll, 18 doll, African American Doll, Truly Me
Meet Annie, a custom American Girl doll. She was based off the picture book'Annie was Warned' by Jarrett J. Krosoczka and a very hip, fashionable version of myself. XD She is very clean with no smells (just cleanness) and can stand on her own. This doll came to me second hand and has been disassembled down to her stuffing and cleaned from the inside out. Her limbs have been restrung, her cloth body washed and all of her vinyl skin -head, arms and legs- were cleaned three times and stains removed.
She is completely customized and restored by me. She is made from an American Girl Truly Me doll. She has hand-painted purple AG eyes, and a new black curly wig from Playhouse new old stock.
She also has feathered black eyebrows, black and gold lashes, golden brown eyelids, dusty pink colored lips, and natural fingernails and toenails, and freckles, all hand painted by me. Annie is unique in that she is a dyed doll. She had a bath in Rit Dye More'Chocolate' and'Sandstone.This dye is permanent and will not come off, though I would be careful with her clothes. There are quite a few inconsistent parts of the dye on Annie because the original doll had a lot of scrapes and shine marks, see last three photos. So, I gave her lots of freckles! Annie is a skateboarder and loves the color purple. Plus, it goes nicely with her skin tone.
She arrives in a black sweatshirt, handmade purple plaid skirt, black and white striped leggings, black high-tops, a silver belt, handmade hair bow and necklace. She also comes with her purple sparkly backpack (which can hold all kinds of things) and her AG skateboard. Unless it is requested otherwise, this doll will be signed by me, with the signature and date on the bottom of the right foot. Please keep in mind that this is a used doll and does have some slight imperfections due to the fact.
Please be aware that the actual doll may not look exactly like the photo, as images differ on computer screens. She was lovingly made over in a cat friendly, smoke free home.
