Mattel BFMC Silkstone Barbie Doll Lingerie #5 AA/Black MPN 56120 LE 2002

Robert Best's "Silkstone" Barbie Fashion Model Collection is considered by many doll collectors to be the pinnacle of Barbie. These dolls were inspired by the aesthetic of the vintage original and have been elevated with elegant fashion using high end textiles and immaculate attention to detail. Their bodies are made of a dense, heavy weight vinyl that is intended to resemble the feel of porcelain. This is "Lingerie #5" with the black doll, released in 2002 as a part of the gold label collection.

It's also a part of a 6 doll series of lingerie models. Sheer elegance begins with a delicate black merry widow bustier with pink bow accent.

Matching shorty robe offers alluring cover for our fifth Silkstone Lingerie Barbie doll. I do not know if she has ever been removed from the packaging, but she is packed neatly and intact in her box. All pieces appear to be present. Her clothing is clean with no signs of display and her hair is neat and tidy. The box has some discoloration and a dent in the top right corner (see pictures).
