Beautiful 17" African American French Bru Jne Reproduction doll by Lynda and Alan Marx from their "Dolls of Yesteryear collection. Crafted in 1988, this is a vintage doll with a bisque head and composition body. She is jointed at the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees; and has brown glass eyes.
She is wearing a dress hand-sewn by Sirley Darmohray complete with lace stockings, ballet flats with pearl bead accents, a matching bonnet with lace edging, and an umbrella that matches her dress. On top of her umbrella sits a silver rose bead. Her hat is also accented with a soft, pink feather. She has a human hair wig, pink eye shadow, and rosy cheeks.
This doll comes with everything pictured; including her original tag and white metal stand for displaying. She is in overall excellent condition, with only some minor abrasions where her joints meet. She is from a smoke free home with no odors, and has been lovingly displayed within a glass cabinet to protect her from damage and dust.
