Franklin Heirloom Duke Ellington Mood Indigo African American Porcelain Doll

Doll measures approximately 18 1/2 inches tall to top of her head. Beautiful Franklin Heirloom Doll / Duke Ellington's Mood Indigo doll. Doll is crafted in hand-painted bisque porcelain and wears a shimmering gown of crushed panne velvet, sparkling with silver-toned beadwork and accented with a silver-colored butterfly. She wears a matching cape sewn of diaphanous chiffon edged in silver ribbon and a matching cliche hat.

Her earrings match the beads that trim her ensemble. Doll was authorized by the estate of Duke Ellington and was available exclusively through The Franklin Mint. Doll does not come with its original packaging but will be carefully packaged to ensure safe arrival to its new home. Light surface wear as seen in pictures. Doll stand is presently attached to the doll at the torso.
