BEVERLY WALTER Reproduction African American Baby Doll Glass Eyes

Up for sale is a vintage reproduction baby doll. It was made in 1974 by Barbara Walter and is signed on the neck.

I believe this is a copy of someone else's creation as there is another name on the neck along with "Germany". Unfortunately, I can't quite make it out. This doll has a cloth body and limbs and a bisque head and hands. The eyes are fixed and look like glass. It has applied hair that is very real looking.

This doll is dressed in a christening gown, but the dress is a bit large for the doll. The double layer white dress has some yellowing in places as well as some small stains. It also wears little crocheted booties that are pinned on.
