This adorable doll is named Jossie and she was created by Berdine Creedy in 2005. She represents an African girl from the collection called Traveling Little Girls. At 13 tall and made of high quality vinyl, she is really something to admire. Creedy has captured the wanderlust of travel in sweet Jossie's big brown eyes. They are glass and framed delicately with fine upper lashes.

Her well sculpted facial features are done so realistically on such a small scale, showing off Creedy's artist flair. Jossie's wig is a dark brown mohair with some braids and some loose hanging tendrils. It is all original, untouched and not dusty! This doll has lived behind glass her whole life in my smoke free home! She wears her original outfit of a jacket, top, capri ruffled pants and brown faux suede boots.

She carries along a brown tote bag the same color and material as her boots. Jossie is always on the look out for special treasures in her travels!

She is ball jointed and appears to be intact, though she may be a bit looser in her arms from age. I have not undressed her, as she looks fine just as she is. Jossie has been displayed but rarely handled. I have her box, her doll stand shown here and her COA. If you have the 2 other dolls from this collection, maybe Jossie is just the one to complete it!
