Diana Ross by Bob Mackie, a Barbie Collectible by Mattel. Limited Edition Fashion Doll of the beautiful Diana Ross. In 1959 she was the Lead Singer for The World Famous "Supremes" A global legend in the world of music. One of the all time great female vocalist of our time. This beautiful Diana Ross fashion doll is in excellent, never played with condition still in it's original box. She comes complete with her gown, shoes and doll stand. Diana Ross wears a Bob Mackie designer gown from her most memorable 1970's era. Her dress is a dramatic white/silvery glitter printed gown. It features dolman sleeves, tightens from the waist down to the knees and then flares out. The gown has beaded cuffs and coordinating wide beaded belt. The ensemble features a flower in Diana's long wavy black hair. The face is an authentic Diana Ross sculpt. Finally, the doll has silvery hoop earrings, painted fingernails, and white shoes. Clean, the protective plastic is clear with very little wear, considering the time in storage and on the shelf, the blister card and figure looks great. There is some shelf wear dent in upper left protective plastic and scratches on protective plastic, upper right corner and lower right corner there is some fraying that does not detract from the collectability of the package and figure. The figure in box is mint, never out of package. The appearance looks good, clean and is good for collectible display.
