Arranbee Dream Baby 7 Composition African-American Doll 1935 All Original & Box

This 7 Dream Baby was made by Arranbee circa 1935 and is less commonly seen than the larger versions. His African-American ethnicity makes him even more rare.

This doll is all composition, fully articulated, and has black molded hair and brown painted eyes. The back is marked R. The original outfit includes a one piece green & white fleece outfit with matching cap.

Also included is an vintage unmarked pink box with sweet baby graphics. It is similar to other R&B boxes from this era, so it may be original to this doll. The doll is in very good condition from a smoke-free home. There are shallow cracks under the nose and lower lip, and on the right buttock. There are paint chips on the back of the head, at the joints, and on the backs of the legs. The doll has been freshly restrung and there are no unpleasant odors. The outfit is in very good condition. It has faded and the belt is frayed on the end. The box is in excellent condition. Please enlarge and examine the photos for additional description of condition.
