Antique African American doll Handmade Adrienne McDonald Urban Faeries. This fella is Zed and has his tag but the tag is ripped. At first i was thinking he was missing an arm but upon inspection there does not look to have ever been an arm so I believe he was made that way as I do not see any stitching or anything to indicate there was an arm there. Pre-owned, smoke and pet free home. Adrienne McDonald was an amazing fiber artist who had her own urban style and made dolls out of used items and fabric.

Her dolls are highly collectible. She had also designed garments for Dr Maya Angelou with her distinctive style. She sadly passed away in 2008.

I do not attempt to clean any vintage or collectible items as I do not want to damage them by using the wrong cleaning products.
